PROPHECY, CHAMBAR, AND DOSANKO || Pioneering Culinary and Cocktail Experiences in Vancouver
Vancouver's food and drink scene is getting a fresh boost this spring, with three spots making waves: Prophecy, Chambar, and Dosanko.
Each offers something unique, whether it’s new twists on cocktails, celebrating a milestone with retro vibes, or embracing the season with innovative dishes.
Prophecy: Enjoy Handcrafted Concoctions Under the Rosewood Hotel Georgia
Located beneath the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Prophecy is about to shake up Vancouver’s cocktail world. Think of it as your go-to for a night where the setting is as memorable as the drinks. It's the brainchild of the folks from At Home Hospitality, who know a thing or two about creating cool places to hang out in the city.
What sets Prophecy apart? First off, Jeff Savage is curating the drink program as their Beverage Director. To say Jeff knows his cocktails would be an understatement – we're talking top bartender in Canada kind of know-how. We’ve enjoyed some of Jeff’s iconic cocktails, and this new menu he’s planning will undoubtedly be brimming with creativity, delightful flavours, and awe-inspiring presentations.
The setting is a nod to its history, mixing old-school charm with a bit of modern flair. It's about enjoying the luxury of a well-made drink in a spot that feels both exclusive and welcoming. No stiff formality here – just good drinks, good company, and a cool setting.

Chambar is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is throwing back to the start with some of its original dishes at 2004 prices. This place has been a staple for a reason: it’s all about fine dining without the fuss. The anniversary menu is a trip down memory lane with dishes that showcase its blend of Belgian, North African, and Middle Eastern flavours.
Beyond the food, Chambar has a history of being a launchpad for Vancouver's hospitality talent. It's more than just a restaurant; it’s a community hub that’s played a big role in shaping the city's dining scene.
