HAY || Wall Clock, by Jasper Morrison
Since we spring an hour forward today with Daylight Savings time in Canada, we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to feature a new addition to the HAY universe: the new Wall Clock by Jasper Morrison.
This is HAY’s first collaboration with renowned British designer Jasper Morrison. Since its conception in 2008, the iconic design has become known for Morrison’s signature clean, uncluttered aesthetic, embodied in an object that is distinguished by its versatility and simple functionality.
’We admire Morrison’s ability to create designs that are straightforward but never banal, simple but never boring, and always extremely relevant.’
Easy to hang and featuring a smooth, second hand which moves without sound, Wall Clock has become a classic timepiece, an iconic product recognized by design lovers for its simple beauty. It is defined by its ability to fit seamlessly into everyday surroundings, appealing to a broad range of styles and sensibilities. It is available in four fresh colours that can adapt to any space.
‘Wall Clock is a minimal clock in many ways, but it is easy to read: clear and simple, achieving exactly what it needs,’ says Hay, explaining that its reductive face features only a few numbers and the three hands, nothing more. ’And in that simplicity, it is also very beautiful.’
