But if you’re looking to snap some Instagrammable pictures, mid-afternoon would not be a good time to visit as there would be other tulip fans in the background of your photos. For such a beautiful festival like this, it’s always good to plan the trip in advance. Be sure to wear the right shoes - those that you wouldn’t be scared to get dirty in the mud! Another perk of planning in advance is that the entrance ticket is only $13 for adults and $7 for children, saving $3-$5 more than if you were to buy the ticket on the day of.
