PUEBLO DEL SOL || A Pioneering Eco-Tourism Project in Oaxaca, Mexico
Nestled in the Sierra de Oaxaca and watched over by the tropical forest, Pueblo del Sol embodies the dream of a better tomorrow, with intentions and actions committed to integrated development and environment conservation.
How it all began:
Founded in early 2017, Pueblo del Sol grew out of an experience Ezequiel Ayarza Sforza had in the Amazon Jungle, where he made contact with a simple life in complete harmony with nature. This enriching experience that confronted him with isolation inspired the entrepreneur to set the groundwork for an unprecedented project in Mexico.
Later on, he discovered a site in the mountains near Puerto Escondido that inspired him to bring his vision of this new reality to life, where prosperity, abundance and integration are the essential pillars. The landscape is lush with tropical forest greenery and pure flowing water. The atmosphere has fostered long-term productive ventures such as coffee, vanilla, organic cocoa plantations, as well as beekeeping. Infrastructure development and the implementation of training and leisure activities for personal growth also plays a role, since there is a growing recognition that daily work and effort must be complemented by education and relaxation that allow freedom and openness.

ECOTOURISM
Pueblo del Sol has recently begun to implement bioconstruction methods which utilizes materials from the immediate surroundings, in order to reduce the impact of building new housing for workers. Following the same idea, an ecolodge was constructed to capture travelers' interest in discovering conscientious tourism in a destination where they can establish an authentic connection with Mother Nature, people, and adventure through a range of exciting activities.
