3 DISHES COOKED IN 20 MINUTES | PUMPKIN CHOWDER, STEAMED EGGS, AND STEAMED VEGETABLES RECIPE

Let us repeat, you can make 3 dishes from a single-pot recipe in 20 minutes with the use of a Thermomix®.

With one pot, you can make Pumpkin Chowder, Steamed Eggs, and Steamed Vegetables. Running a small and busy family? This single-pot recipe combines both eastern and western flavors to appeal to the young and old in the family.

Ingredients

Prepare steamed eggs and vegetables

  • 2 eggs (about 53-63 grams)

  • 200 grams of water

  • 200 g baby dish, washed and shredded

  • 200 g enoki mushrooms, cut off the root

  • 150 g carrots, shredded

Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon pepper oil

  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 3-4 fresh coriander, minced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon rock sugar powder

Pumpkin Gumbo and Steamed Vegetables

  • 30 g onions (about ⅓ onions)

  • 30 g unsalted butter

  • 400 g pumpkin, cut into small pieces

  • 100 g potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces

  • 50 g raw cashew nuts

  • 600 grams of hot water

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

Prepare steamed eggs and vegetables

  1. Put a bowl on the lid of the mixing bowl, add eggs and 200 grams of water to the bowl, evenly beat into the egg liquid, remove the surface foam, pour into a flat plate and cover with heat-resistant plastic wrap.

  2. Put the main pot cover on the steamer rack, put it in a flat plate to ensure that the vent holes are not blocked, put in the steamer, weigh the baby dishes, enoki mushrooms and carrot shreds on the steamer, evenly lay the material on the steamer On the top, pay attention to leaving vent holes to keep the steam smooth. Put the lid on the steamer and remove.

Sauce

  1. Take a small bowl, add pepper oil, oyster sauce, vinegar, cilantro, garlic, soy sauce, water, sesame oil and rock sugar powder into the bowl, mix well in the bowl and set aside.

Pumpkin Gumbo and Steamed Vegetables

  1. Place onion and butter in mixing bowl and saute 3 min / 120 ° C / speed 1 .

  2. Add pumpkin, potatoes, raw cashew nuts and hot water, put in a steamer set and cook at 18 points / Varoma / speed 1 .

  3. Remove the steamer set to keep warm and set aside. Cover the measuring cup to the lid of the mixing bowl to reconcile / 1 minute 30 seconds .

  4. Add salt and white pepper and stir at 1 min / speed 3 . Place the pumpkin puree in a bowl, pour the vegetables in the steaming pan into the bowl, drizzle the sauce, remove the plastic wrap from the steamed egg and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, and enjoy together.
