JUNE DESIGN ROUNDUP || Ribbed Glass Tables, Wall-bound Floral Arrangements and Colourful Poufs

Gianfranco Ferré Home

In balance between rigour and softness

The Veil table from Gianfranco Ferré Home’s 2024 collection introduces the theme of presence and absence. Made of ribbed glass in grey and natural colours, it is enriched with elegant, chromed metal inserts. Its visual lightness and contemporary style make it perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to any setting. We are drawn to this piece by how it signals strength and vulnerability simultaneously.

Ritmo and Punto

It’s all in the details

I’ve always wished for an armchair that would be perfect as a reading chair and enhance the vibrancy of my home interiors; I think I’ve finally found what I’m looking for in French designer Anthony Guerrée’s RITMO armchair.

I love the details that make this piece dynamic, such as the liquid metal and the addition of straw marquetry. And since I’m a more is more type of person when it comes to colour, the fruity PUNTO pouf would also be on my wish list.

VEIL CABINETS

A distinctive blend of cultural influences in design

Designed by Norwegian designer Silje Nesdal, the Veil Cabinets showcase her background in textiles and furniture design, as well as the influences of her experiences living in Norway and Japan. Hand-sewn natural linen sheets are used as doors, giving the wooden cabinets a softness and lightness that infuses the understated elegance of Norwegian and Japanese design into the living space.

LADO VASE

Floral arrangements for your walls

Recently unveiled at Origin Made’s exhibition at Enter the Salon at 3daysofdesign, the minimal Lado vase designed by Norm Architects is meant to be connected to a wall surface. Its gentle presence, which can be enhanced with a delicate sprig or a vibrant blossom, enlivens one’s interiors with a touch of nature.

AMBI

Designed for the changing workplace

Stylex teamed up with Gensler to create AMBI, a new collection designed for the evolving demands of the workplace. We no longer want stuffy conference rooms or long hours spent sitting in chairs that hurt our backs; the AMBI collection aims to bring together functionality, technology and productivity, and dare we say, a little bit of comfort and social energy to our everyday in the office.
